The Indigenous Peoples Movement (IPM) was established in 2019, coinciding with the Indigenous Peoples March. This movement is a collective answer to the adversities Indigenous communities encounter globally. We originated from a deep-rooted need to safeguard and uplift Indigenous rights and traditions.

At our essence, we value respect, acknowledgment, and advocacy. We honor the rich tapestry of Indigenous cultures worldwide, recognize their historical and current challenges, and ardently champion their rights.

The Indigenous Peoples March wasn’t just an event; it symbolized our steadfast commitment to justice and equality, connecting Indigenous communities around the world and highlighting pivotal concerns like land rights, environmental stewardship, and cultural conservation.

With unity at our forefront, our mission is to fortify global Indigenous ties and collaborations. Our approach encompasses policy advocacy, raising public awareness, and building capabilities—all to bolster Indigenous communities in their journey towards self-determination.

Since our inception, IPM has blossomed into a worldwide initiative with a diverse assembly of members and allies. We’ve made significant progress, yet our mission remains ongoing. We warmly welcome you to be a part of our quest in upholding the rights and respect of Indigenous Peoples everywhere.

Together, our combined efforts give a louder voice to Indigenous communities around the globe.

We appreciate your interest in IPM. Stand with us as we sculpt a fairer world.
